Installation & Pairing

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure controller batteries are installed.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 2 AAA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Power on AC unit: Ensure main power to indoor unit is switched on.
  3. Automatic pairing: Controller should automatically sync with AC unit when powered.
  4. Manual pairing (if needed): Press and hold "Reset" button on indoor unit for 5 seconds, then press any button on controller.

WARNING! Use only specified battery type. Do not mix old and new batteries. Ensure AC unit power is off during battery installation.

First-Time Setup

Power on AC unit; controller should display current settings.

  1. Set temperature units: Press and hold MODE and TEMP DOWN for 3 seconds to toggle °C/°F.
  2. Set clock: Press CLOCK button, use TEMP buttons to adjust time, press CLOCK again to confirm.

  3. Maximum operating distance: 8 meters (26 feet).
  4. For multi-split systems: Use UNIT SELECT button to choose which indoor unit to control.

Tip: If controller doesn't respond, check battery level, distance, and ensure no strong light sources are interfering with infrared signal.

Operating Modes

Five main operation modes for different needs.

  1. Cool Mode: For cooling. Set desired temperature (recommended 24-26°C / 75-79°F).
  2. Heat Mode: For heating. Set desired temperature (recommended 20-22°C / 68-72°F).
  3. Dry Mode: For dehumidification without significant temperature change.
  4. Fan Mode: Air circulation only (no cooling/heating).
  5. Auto Mode: Unit automatically selects Cool, Heat, or Fan based on room temperature.

WARNING! Do not set extreme temperatures. Allow unit time to reach set temperature. In Heat mode, unit may take 3-5 minutes to start blowing warm air (anti-cold draft feature).

Advanced Functions

Timer: Program ON time (unit starts at set time) and OFF time (unit stops at set time). Sleep Mode: Gradually adjusts temperature for comfortable sleep (temperature increases by 1°C/2°F over 2 hours in Cool mode, decreases in Heat mode). Powerful Mode: Maximum cooling/heating capacity for 20 minutes, then returns to previous settings. Econo Mode: Optimizes operation for energy savings. Swing Control: Adjust vertical louvers (5 positions) and horizontal swing (continuous or fixed). Filter Reset: Reset filter cleaning reminder after maintenance (press and hold FILTER button for 3 seconds).

Care & Maintenance

Clean controller with soft, dry cloth. Replace batteries when display dims or functions become unresponsive.

CAUTION! Do not use water, chemicals, or abrasive cleaners. Do not expose to direct sunlight for extended periods. Store in cool, dry place when not in use for extended time (remove batteries).
