Installation & Battery Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure remote is compatible with your Daikin AC model.

  1. Open battery compartment: Slide cover on back of remote.
  2. Insert batteries: Use two AAA batteries (1.5V), observing correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close compartment: Secure cover until it clicks.
  4. Test remote: Point at AC unit and press POWER button.

WARNING! Use only recommended battery type. Do not mix old and new batteries. Remove batteries if not used for extended periods.

First-Time Setup

Power on AC unit; sync remote control.

Connecting to AC Unit

Ensure proper communication between remote and AC unit.

  1. Check compatibility: Verify remote model matches AC unit.
  2. Clear line of sight: Remove obstacles between remote and AC receiver.
  3. Distance: Operate within 8 meters with direct line of sight.
  4. Sync: If unresponsive, point remote at AC and press POWER repeatedly.

Tip: AC unit's indicator light should blink when receiving remote signals.

Operating Modes

Supports five main operation modes.

  1. Cool Mode: For cooling. Set desired temperature (recommended 24-26°C).
  2. Heat Mode: For heating. Set temperature (recommended 20-22°C).
  3. Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling/heating. Select fan speed only.
  4. Dry Mode: Reduces humidity. Fan runs at low speed automatically.
  5. Auto Mode: Unit automatically selects Cool, Heat, or Fan based on room temperature.

WARNING! Do not set extreme temperatures. Allow time for temperature stabilization.

Advanced Functions

Timer Settings: Press TIMER ON to set start time (0-24 hours); TIMER OFF for shutdown. Swing Control: Press SWING to activate; press again to stop at desired position. ECO Mode: Reduces power consumption by optimizing compressor operation. TURBO Mode: Maximum cooling/heating for 30 minutes then returns to previous setting. Reset: Hold RESET for 3 seconds to restore factory defaults.

Care & Maintenance

Remove batteries before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth only; no liquids or chemicals.
