Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure compatibility with your Daikin indoor unit.

  1. Turn off power: Switch off the circuit breaker for the air conditioning system.
  2. Mount the bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using screws.

  3. Connect the control cable wires to the designated terminals (e.g., 1 and 2 for 2-wire systems). Ensure connections are tight.
  4. Connect the other end to the BRC1D52 terminal block, matching the polarity/wire configuration.

Tip: Always follow the specific wiring diagram provided with your indoor unit. Using incorrect terminals can damage the controller or PCB.

Operating Modes

Select the mode suitable for your comfort needs.

  1. Press the MODE button to cycle through: Auto → Cool → Dry → Heat → Fan → Auto.
  2. In Auto Mode, the unit automatically selects cooling or heating based on room temperature.
  3. In Cool/Dry/Heat Mode, set your desired temperature using the TEMP buttons.
  4. In Fan Mode, only the fan operates; no temperature control is active.
  5. Adjust fan speed and airflow direction independently in any mode (except some restrictions in Dry mode).
  6. Press the ECONO button to activate energy-saving operation (adjusts set temperature slightly for efficiency).

WARNING! Do not use the Heat mode if the outdoor temperature is very low unless the system is designed for low-ambient operation.

Timer Functions

Program the unit to turn On and Off automatically.

One-Time Timer: 1. With the unit OFF, press TIMER. Set the desired ON time using TEMP buttons. 2. With the unit ON, press TIMER. Set the desired OFF time.
Weekly Timer: 1. Enter the setting menu (press & hold TIMER). 2. Navigate to 'Weekly Timer' and press MODE to enter. 3. Program different On/Off times for each day of the week. 4. Enable the weekly timer schedule.

Press TIMER again to cancel a set timer. The timer icon (🕐) will appear on the display when active.

Care & Cleaning

Turn off power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the display and surface. For stubborn dirt, dampen the cloth slightly with water. Do not use benzene, thinner, or abrasive cleaners.

CAUTION! Never spray water or cleaner directly onto the controller. Avoid excessive moisture.
