Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure compatibility with your Daikin indoor unit.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 2 x AAA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Pair with indoor unit: Point remote at indoor unit and press ON/OFF; unit should beep.

First-Time Use

Operation Modes

  1. Press MODE repeatedly until desired mode icon appears.
  2. Adjust temperature as needed (not applicable in FAN mode).
  3. Press FAN to set airflow speed.
  4. System will operate to reach set parameters.

Tip: In AUTO mode, the system decides operation based on current room temperature versus set point.

Timer Functions

Set the unit to turn On or Off automatically at a specified time.

  1. Press TIMER once for On Timer; press again for Off Timer.
  2. Use ▲/▼ to set the time (in hours, 0-24).
  3. Press TIMER again to confirm. Timer icon will blink.
  4. To cancel, press TIMER until icon disappears.
  5. To check set time, press TIMER once; display shows remaining time.

Note: Timer settings are retained during power loss if batteries are installed.

Advanced Settings

Reset: Hold RESET button for 3 seconds to restore factory defaults. Temperature Unit: Switch between °C and °F by holding TEMP ▲ and ▼ simultaneously for 3 seconds. Backlight: Press any button to activate backlight (stays on for 10 seconds).

Care & Maintenance

Replace batteries when low battery icon appears. Clean remote with soft, dry cloth; do not use solvents. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
