Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure compatibility with your Daikin central air conditioning system.

  1. Mounting: Choose a location on an interior wall, approximately 1.5 meters from the floor, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  2. Wiring: Connect the controller to the central unit using the provided communication cable (2-wire). Follow the wiring diagram in the system manual.
  3. Power: The controller is typically powered through the communication line from the main unit. No separate power supply is needed.
  4. Secure the controller to the wall using the included screws and wall anchors.

WARNING! Installation must be performed by a qualified HVAC technician. Ensure power to the main unit is OFF before beginning installation.

First-Time Setup

After installation and power restoration, configure the basic settings.

  1. Power On: The display will illuminate. The system may enter a default AUTO mode.
  2. Set Clock: Press the CLOCK button and use the +/- keys to set the current time.
  3. Select Temperature Unit: Access the SETTINGS menu to choose between °C and °F.
  4. Test Operation: Select COOL mode, set a temperature below room temp, and verify the system starts. Repeat for HEAT mode.
