Installation Requirements

Professional installation is strongly recommended. Ensure proper location and electrical requirements.

  1. Select installation site: Indoor unit should be mounted high on wall, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  2. Outdoor unit placement: Ensure adequate clearance (min 12 inches) on all sides for airflow, on stable surface.
  3. Electrical connection: Dedicated circuit required. Follow local electrical codes.
  4. Refrigerant piping: Connect indoor and outdoor units with insulated copper pipes.
  5. Drain hose: Route to proper drainage location with downward slope.

WARNING! Installation must be performed by a qualified technician. Incorrect installation can cause injury, water damage, or unit failure.

First-Time Setup & Operation

After installation, perform initial setup for optimal performance.

  1. Power on: Turn on circuit breaker. Indoor unit will beep and display standby indicator.
  2. Remote control: Insert batteries (typically AAA). Point remote at indoor unit signal receiver.
  3. Test operation: Press POWER button on remote. Select desired mode (Cool, Heat, etc.).
  4. Set temperature: Use TEMP ▲/▼ buttons to set desired temperature.
  5. Adjust fan speed: Press FAN button to select Auto, Low, Medium, High, or Quiet.

Remote Control Operation

WARNING! Always turn off power at circuit breaker before performing any maintenance. Do not touch aluminum fins.

Wi-Fi & Smart Features
