Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure power to HVAC system is turned OFF at circuit breaker before beginning.

  1. Remove old thermostat: Turn off power, remove cover, label wires, disconnect from old baseplate.
  2. Mount new baseplate: Use provided screws and level to secure baseplate to wall.
  3. Connect wires: Match labeled wires to corresponding terminals on Daikin One baseplate (R, C, Y, W, G, O/B, etc.).
  4. Attach thermostat: Align and snap thermostat onto mounted baseplate until it clicks into place.
  5. Restore power: Turn circuit breaker back on to power HVAC system and thermostat.

WARNING! Electrical shock hazard. Always turn off power at circuit breaker before installation. If unsure, consult a qualified HVAC technician.

First-Time Setup

After installation and power restoration, follow on-screen prompts to configure your thermostat.

  1. Language selection: Choose your preferred language (default is ENGLISH).
