Installation & Battery Setup

1. Open battery compartment: Slide cover on rear of remote.
2. Insert batteries: Install two AAA batteries, observing correct polarity (+/-).
3. Close compartment: Secure cover until it clicks.
4. Initial test: Point remote at AC indoor unit and press POWER. The transmission LED should flash.

WARNING! Use only specified battery type. Do not mix old and new batteries. Remove batteries if remote will not be used for extended periods.

First-Time Setup & Pairing

4. Adjust fan speed: Press FAN SPEED to cycle through options.
5. Adjust airflow direction: Press SWING to start/stop vertical louver movement.
6. Turn off: Press POWER again to put the AC unit in standby.

Timer & Sleep Functions

Timer Programming: Can set both ON and OFF timers simultaneously. For example, set to turn ON at 6 PM and OFF at 11 PM. The LCD will show both timer icons when active. Cancel by pressing the respective TIMER button until the icon disappears.

Sleep Function Details: Operates for 7 hours. In Cool mode, temperature increases by 1°C after 1 hour, and another 1°C after another hour, then remains. Fan speed operates at Low. Ideal for nighttime use.

Care & Maintenance

Unload batteries before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth only; do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners.

1. Clean the LCD and button surface gently with a microfiber cloth.
2. Clean the infrared transmitter window on the top of the remote to ensure clear signal transmission.
3. Check battery contacts for corrosion if remote becomes unresponsive. Clean with a dry cotton swab if necessary.
4. Store remote in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
